1. What we collect

When you submit a building, we store:

• Building name and URL slug
• Owner / donor name you provide
• Optional link URL you want associated with the building
• Optional email address (only if you provide one for notifications)
• Visual configuration (colors, tier, seed, style choices)
• Approximate timestamp of submission

We do not require an account. We do not ask for your real name, address, phone number, or payment details.

2. How we use it

• To display your building publicly as part of the city
• To allow visitors to find it via search
• To contact you (only if you provide an email)
• To detect abuse and moderate content

3. Weather data

The city shows weather matching your local conditions. To do this, your browser shares an approximate geographic location with OpenWeatherMap. We do not store this location ourselves.

4. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage to keep minor preferences. We do not set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services (see below) may set their own cookies.

5. Third-party services

• Supabase — hosts our database and stores building records. See Supabase privacy policy.
• Google AdSense — displays ads and uses cookies to personalize them. See Google's ads policy.
• OpenWeatherMap — receives coarse location to return local weather.
• Vercel — hosts the website. See Vercel's privacy policy.

6. Advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

7. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data retention & deletion

Your submission is stored until you (or we) remove it. To request removal of a building you submitted, email us with the building name or URL slug.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Contact us to exercise these rights.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
